Most developing Governments face an ever-increasing need to find sufficient financing to develop and maintain infrastructure and basic services required to support growing populations. Governments are challenged by the demands of increasing urbanization, the rehabilitation requirements of aging infrastructure, the need to expand networks to new populations, and the goal of reaching previously unserved or underserved areas.

At Caregore Consulting, our interest is in creating opportunities within Public-private partnerships defined as “the formation of cooperative relationships between government, profit-making firms, and non-profit private organizations to fulfill a policy function” and Business networking opportunities.

These cooperative relationships to fulfill universal human needs involve global actors: nation/states, international organizations (IOs), and non-state, private actors. The latter can be divided into for-profit, such as transnational corporations (TNCs) or multinational corporations (MNCs), and non-profit, such as international non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Public-Private Partnerships and business networking opportunities are applied to international affairs, which lead to significant solutions to a whole variety of problems faced in governance.  These then lead to the increase of both the effectiveness and the legitimacy of global governance in terms of democratic participation and accountability.
